The most important action you can take if you have a knocked-out tooth, a painful toothache, or an object lodged between your teeth is to call the dentist!
Knocked-Out Tooth
If your tooth gets knocked out, then hold the tooth by the crown (the top), and gentle rinse off the root. Do not remove any attached tissue fragments. If you can, place the tooth back in the socket and hold it there. If you can’t, then place the tooth in a cup of milk, and call Las Vegas Family Dentists!
Toothache
If you’re experiencing a toothache, do not apply aspirin or other pain relievers directly to the gum—it may burn the tissue. Since most toothaches indicate a root canal infection, it’s important to call Las Vegas Family Dentists as soon as possible.
Objects Caught Between Teeth
